It has finally been cold enough to dig my winter clothes out of storage. You can imagine my dismay to find they have serious moth damage. I used cedar blocks, but guess that was not enough. My favourite skirt has damage all the way to the hip.
Now the challenge is to find out what other clothes are damaged and how to fix it. The skirt has so much damage that I don’t think I can darn it all. Throwing it out is not an option. So I was thinking of possibly using these fabric yo-yos from my mother’s craft stash.
I am really saddened by this, but determined to overcome it.
Life will always throw something at you! Next year I guess I will pack it all up with old fashioned moth balls.
