The Sound of Silence

It was unexpected. There was no warning, no meaning, no reason. Why? I don't know. The people who were silenced do not know. They were not shown any examples of their behavior that may have been the reason for it. It was sudden and it was chilling. Who is next? Is is me? Is is you? Who? I do not know and we won't know until the duct tape is placed over our mouths.

  3. Silenced in a way, but unleashed in another way. When you rule by fear, often the fear of punishment is a stronger control than actually using your weapon. Seasoned cops know how to control a situation without such clumsy overreactions. This was an amateurs mistake.

  4. what I know is that when you silence a few, you silence us all.

  5. Actually, I disagree. Speaking in general here, I think when some are silenced, the rest need to pick up and carry on the legacy the others left.

  6. I am amazed that they actually think they accomplished something good by the unjustified, unforwarned banning of a few, intelligent vocal etsy members who had the nerve to speak up and ask questions or urge the administration to establish fair and equitable rules and enforce them evenly.

The funny thing is, as a previous commenter pointed out, their best form of control was the "threat" of removal.. now that they have been removed, who knows...
